About
According to NBC's official summary, Will Anthros was born in the winter of 1976 in Danville, CA. In his early childhood, Will moved from school to school due to his father's work. It was this lack of social stability and grounding that led Will to focus on academics, an area in which he did well. He did well in all of his classes, but leaned towards math and sciences.
By his 13th birthday, his father had obtained a job that planted his family in one place for the first time since Will was born. This was a boom to Will's confidence. In high school, Will participated in Student Government and several extra curricular activities including Model U.N., Honor Society, and Track and Field where he set school record in Pole Vault and 1000m.
When he graduated as class Salutatorian, Will was accepted to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he studied Chemical Engineering and Medicine. After completing his undergraduate, Will enrolled at Harvard/M.I.T.'s medical school. He also continued to participate in Student Government and found himself organizing protests against various injustices as well as helping gather aid for the refugees of the Kosovo Conflict. His thesis was entitled "Ethics in American Medicine and It's Effect on Global Healthcare".
In 2004, Will graduated from Medical School and accepted a university teaching position. Shortly thereafter, his father suddenly disappeared from his job at the Berkut Group. Will was bought onboard as Head Surgeon to help and after decoding his father's research in the Bionics program, he convinced senior officials to let him continue it on a limited scale and with strict guidelines against human trials. He has successfully led the program for 3 years now without incident.
In the Spring of 2007, while lecturing a class on Bio/Enviromental Ethics, Will met Jaime Sommers, his future girlfriend.
