Nice work

I just wanted to let you know that you're doing an excellent job. If we can get some base articles on the characters and actors that we know will be in the series and possibly even some spoilers then we'll have a nice foundation when the series actually airs and should be able to attract fans of the show. I'll be doing some advertising of the site around the time the show first airs so we want to make a good impression so people will want to come back. (Admin 17:11, 22 August 2007 (EDT))

Images for boxes

• There's quite a big gallery of promo images of the characters here. Maybe they'd be better for the boxes on the pages than the blurry screenshots we have currently? WHat do you think? —   Lost Soul   talk  contribs  my rpg 12:19, 24 August 2007 (EDT)

Tivo

• Do you have a Tivo by any chance? I was just looking around on mine and it looks like they're offering the Bionic Woman pilot already. Collapsible tables

• There are some ultra-long plot summary spoilers out for Bionic Woman, and having seen collapsible tables on your todo list at Heroes Wiki, I thought I would port the collapsible table code and post them using collapsible tables on the spoiler page both to avoid spamming and so people who don't want to read them don't have to. And after some debugging, I got it to work! Just noting this here so you can port the changes to Heroes Wiki!—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 20:44, 23 September 2007 (EDT)
  • Did you check the licensing of that code? If it came from Wikipedia then it's licensed under GNU FDL and cannot be used here and must be removed immediately. That's why I have it listed as a project of mine to write my own version. (Admin 22:43, 23 September 2007 (EDT))

index.php

• As you see, I took out the dumb index.php in the middle of all the URLs. I updated the templates that should be modified. I saw you took index.php out of a few other pages. We want to take it out anywhere it says /index.php/PageName, but not where it says /index.php?stuff While it will currently still work even if you take it out of the latter example it could cause problems in the future if I change the configuration so it's best to leave it in there (and at least saves you the trouble of having to change it in so many places). Banner ad

• If you or anyone you know is able to make a 728x90 banner ad for Bionic Wiki I'd be glad to throw it into the rotation. Graphical banner ads do attract more clicks especially if they're slick. (Admin 18:39, 27 September 2007 (EDT))

      • Finished adding an animated one to the Logo contest area. The toughest part was keeping it under 50k, as I was using a gradient which made each frame at least 25k+.         • It didn't have to be animated, but all the better. There were some great animated logos submitted on Heroes Wiki, but I couldn't use them because they were several hundred kilobytes and the max is 50k. I'll add your banner ad right now. (Admin 01:06, 29 September 2007 (EDT))
