The Sykes Group is a security corporation.

History

Bionic 360

In 2001, the Sykes Group recruited Sarah Corvus, a private military and security firm. Prized for her marksmanship, they trained Sarah in hand-to-hand combat, communications and stealth maneuvers. On behalf of the firm, Sarah went briefly to Sierra Leone and escorted American diamond traders. In early 2003, she went into Iraq ahead of US forces to protect vital private interests. During a mission in Falluja, Sarah intercepted a rebel attack and rescued Corporal Patrick Shanihan. But while driving back to his base, their jeep hit an IED. She was not injured, but the Corporal lost both his legs and his right arm. Then, in October 2003, Sarah requested and was granted a month's leave. During that time, Jonas Bledsoe met with Sarah and convinced her to leave Sykes Group and enter the Berkut Group's bionics program.

According to an initial Sykes Group evaluation posted on NBC's Bionic Woman website, Sarah showed "superior technique and skill on the firing range". The evaluation appears to have been performed by someone with the initials M.A.
