Besides his work on Bionic Woman, Howard Grigsby has had an extensive film career as producer, production manager, assistant director, writer and consultant. He is known for being a producer of television show Veronica Mars (2005-2007). Howard has also produced episodes for other television series including Baywatch (1999-2001) and Las Vegas (2003). For the movies, he has produced films including Homeward Bound (2002) and Mull (1989).

Howard Grigsby has been production manager for films including Mr. Baseball (1992) and made-for-tv Desperate Journey: The Allison Wilcox Story (1993). In 1985, he was production manager for episode "Deja Vu: Part 1" (1985) of Magnum P.I..

His work as assistant director included films Second Time Lucky (1984) and Billy Two Hats (1974). Howard was a writer for television episodes "Stardust" (1996) of Space: Above and Beyond and "The Return of Jessie" (2001) of Baywatch Hawaii. He also was writer for the film Second Time Lucky (1984) and producation consultant for the made-for-tv Kansas (1995).
