Pilot
In the pilot episode, Jaime and Sarah are portrayed as ordinary people who gain extraordinary abilities. The difference is that they gain their abilities through bionics, not genetics.
Also, when Ruth talks with Jaime for the first time, there is a symbol on the table, and another symbol is displayed every time Jaime uses her bionic vision. Heroes first season also introduced two symbols: the Mark and this one.
And just as Heroes has a secret organization calling the shots behind the scenes called the Company, Bionic Woman introduces the Berkut Group—the organization/corporation behind the secret bionics program.
