About
According to NBC's official site, Helen Anthros moved with her son Will (born in 1976) and husband Anthony from place to place due to the nature of her husband's line of work. Helen helped out her family when she could by getting work as a supervising registered nurse. It was not until 1989 that her husband was able to get a steady job doing prosthetics research for the U.S. military. When Helen's son Will graduated from high school, he left home for good for college and work.
