Let's get started!
Wow, I'm the first one to post anything! I suggest we start by holding a logo contest! :)—Bigfoot Lover 21:42, 18 August 2007 (EDT)
- Level's logo is great for the site logo, but we still need banner and other advertising logo's...—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 14:44, 19 August 2007 (EDT)
Clear Credits discussion
Until the episodes hit the air (and thus the website), some actors will be hard to identify. This is section is for discussion of characters portrayed by unknown actors (Category:Unknown Portrayer).
- So there's the mom and the girl in the car—the girl spots Jaime running in the woods in the preview. Anyone got a clue whom they are?—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 22:44, 20 August 2007 (EDT)
- I added the girl's photo here, but it's not so clear.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 18:09, 31 August 2007 (EDT)
- I've cleared up the girl's photo using the NBC.com Running preview. Also, I've added photos of her mom: one with her daughter and one by herself. Any guesses on either of them? I've no clue...—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 14:13, 21 September 2007 (EDT)

DVD sneak peak
Check out http://www.blockbuster.com/nbc . If someone rents it, we might be able to get some hi-res images online before it begins airing! —Ohmyn0 19:18, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
- True, though it's not Bionic Woman centric and since the Bionic Woman preview is only two minutes long, most of what's there is likely to have already been in the extended preview on youtube...What would be great is to get hi-res pics from the pilot episode when it is released for on-demand purchase on cable networks including ComCast, The Dish and Direct TV. Any takers?—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 19:32, 3 September 2007 (EDT)
- The pilot is available now on both Amazon Unbox and Tivo. If anyone has downloaded it and can help with clearer photos, that would be great!—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 14:15, 21 September 2007 (EDT)
Locked?
- Why's this locked; is it admins only? If so, that's cool, but if not, I was going to do something similar to the portal on Heroes Wiki, what with the nav bar at the top.— Lost Soul talk contribs my rpg 08:17, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
- This talk page is for community discussions. I locked the project page so that only admin could post there such that it would be kind of a Wiki news archive. So you can feel free to mod this page how you were planning. If it looks good, we may use it on the main article page.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 08:32, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
- Uh-huh. Eventually, I'll get round to making a navbar similar to that on HW, and then you can see if it's suitable for the Portal itself.— Lost Soul talk contribs my rpg 09:10, 28 October 2007 (EDT)
- I think you meant the Template:Bionic Wiki navbar, which we already had. I added it to the main portal page and a few others.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 18:19, 31 October 2007 (EDT)

Cancellation
- It's now semi-official that Bionic Woman on NBC has been canceled. According to Lucy Hale (Becca Sommers) on her fan web site, the show is not coming back. They were planning to complete the remaining episodes of their 13 episode contract, but changed their minds when the writer's strike was further prolonged than planned. It will be officially over if BW is not included when NBC announces in May 2008 the returning shows for the fall 2008 season. The rumors of cancellation started with Kristin of E-Online and Ausiello of TV Guide a few weeks ago and have been widely propagated among the online and print media, but no official word has come from NBC.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 02:50, 2 March 2008 (EST)
- Side notes: It really hasn't hit me yet that the show is over as it sounds odd that the Network would say one thing and then change their mind, but at the same time it's hard to refute a cast member. The series is still scheduled to air on ITV2 so I updated Template:Nextepisode to reflect that. Also, assuming DVD sales are strong, there's a chance the show could be picked up by another network. It happened for the series predecessor, so we'll have to wait and see.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 03:21, 2 March 2008 (EST)
- Thanks to a recent post on NBC's Bionic Woman message board, it now looks like Lucy was wrong, and the show may not be over. I guess we'll find out in May.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 17:10, 5 March 2008 (EST)

- Lucy Hale recently replied on her blog to another fan to clarify what she knew:
No message defined. Please edit this page and set message= on Template:Message.

Also, creator and executive producer David Eick has now come out also saying more-or-less that it was his desire to cancel the show—at least for now. In a conversation with SciFi Wire, Eick stated:
No message defined. Please edit this page and set message= on Template:Message.

</noinclude> I read that as Eick resigned himself as a producer of the show. I guess there's still a chance that the Network could have decided to hire a new lead producer, but things are definitely looking more doom and gloom now, and the best chance for continuation will probably be on a new network.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 12:16, 20 March 2008 (EDT)
- Ok, as of today's NBC schedule for 2008-09, Bionic Woman is officially axed. If you want to support the Sci-Fi channel picking up this series, you can sign the petition at http://www.petitiononline.com/BWlives/petition.html

The Sci-Fi channel will probably announce any picked up shows by May. Jericho also looks to be petitioning for a Sci-Fi pickup.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 14:09, 3 April 2008 (EDT)
UK viewing
Since the show is now airing in the UK on ITV2, I've been updating the site to correspond with their airdates. With two episodes aired so far, the show is still going strong there. Check out the ratings. It was the best-ever premiere for ITV2.—Bigfoot Lover (talk) 12:22, 20 March 2008 (EDT)
